Big Brain Ape gives you a full suite of analytics tools so you can understand not just what your portfolio is worth right now, but how it got there and where the market might be heading. From granular trade-level PnL breakdowns to real-time whale wallet monitoring, every data point updates continuously so you are always working with current information rather than stale snapshots. ## Portfolio PnL The Portfolio PnL view shows how much you have made or lost across all connected wallets, broken down into realized and unrealized gains. * **Realized PnL** is the profit or loss locked in by completed trades. Once you sell a token, that gain or loss is recorded permanently in your history. * **Unrealized PnL** reflects the current value of open positions compared to your average entry price. This number changes continuously as market prices move. Use the time filter at the top of the PnL view to scope your analysis to a specific window. | Time Filter | What It Shows | | - | - | | **24h** | PnL from trades and price movements in the last 24 hours | | **7d** | Rolling seven-day performance | | **30d** | Rolling thirty-day performance | | **All time** | Cumulative PnL across your entire account history | Each view shows a percentage return alongside the absolute value so you can compare performance across different portfolio sizes and time periods. ## Trade History The Trade History tab gives you a searchable, filterable log of every trade executed through Big Brain Ape. You can narrow the list using the following filters. * **Token**: Filter by the input or output token symbol or contract address to see all trades involving a specific asset. * **Date range**: Set a custom start and end date to focus on a specific period. * **Status**: Filter by Confirmed, Pending, or Failed to quickly find incomplete or unsuccessful transactions. Each entry in the history shows the token pair, amounts in and out, fees paid, transaction hash, and a timestamp. Click any trade to expand its full details and open the block explorer link. You can export your full trade history as a CSV file from the Trade History tab. Click **Export** in the top-right corner of the table and select your date range. The exported file includes all fields needed for most crypto tax software, including cost basis, proceeds, and timestamps in UTC. ## Token Charts The Token Charts view provides real-time price charts for any token available on the supported networks. Charts are powered by a TradingView-style data feed with full candlestick, line, and area display modes. The following timeframes are available for any token chart. **1m, 5m, 15m, 1h** — Ideal for active trading sessions where you want to watch short-term price action and identify entry or exit points within the day. **4h, 1D** — Useful for swing traders and anyone analyzing multi-day trends, support and resistance levels, or daily volume patterns. **1W, 1M** — Best for understanding the broader market trend and context for a token's price history over weeks or months. You can overlay volume bars on any chart and use the crosshair tool to inspect the exact OHLCV (open, high, low, close, volume) values for any individual candle. ## Whale Tracking The Whale Tracking module monitors large wallet movements across all supported networks in real time. A "whale" on Big Brain Ape is any wallet that executes a trade or transfer above a configurable size threshold, which you can set per token. The feed shows you: * **Large buys and sells**: On-chain transactions above your threshold, flagged by direction (buy or sell) and the approximate USD value. * **Wallet labels**: Where known, wallets are labeled — for example, identified exchange hot wallets, known fund addresses, or previously flagged insider wallets. * **Accumulation patterns**: Repeated buying activity from the same wallet cluster over a short period, which can indicate coordinated accumulation. You can filter the whale feed by network, token, and minimum transaction size. Click any entry to see the full wallet history for that address and assess whether the activity is part of a larger pattern. ## Market Insights The Market Insights panel surfaces the broader market context you need to make informed decisions, without requiring you to check multiple external sources. A ranked list of the tokens with the largest percentage price change in the last 24 hours, updated every minute. Use this to spot momentum opportunities or assets experiencing unusual selling pressure. Tokens ranked by the rate of increase in trading activity and social signals over the last few hours. Trending tokens are not necessarily gaining in price — look for confirmation in the chart before acting. Alerts for tokens that have seen a sudden and significant jump in trading volume relative to their recent average. Volume spikes often precede large price moves in either direction. Tokens that have recently become tradeable on one of the supported networks, surfaced as soon as liquidity is detected on-chain. Useful for early discovery, but always verify contract authenticity before trading. ## Analytics via the API You can access market data and portfolio analytics programmatically through the Big Brain Ape REST API.
